April 25th—a day that should be filled with celebration for Vardan Ghukasyan—is instead marked by injustice.
This year, instead of gathering with friends and family, he faces his birthday behind bars, held under fabricated and baseless charges. And in a striking coincidence, his court hearing is scheduled for the same day. But is it truly coincidence? Or is this yet another calculated move in the fight against truth and justice?
This moment is about more than just Vardan. It represents a battle against oppression, falsehood, and injustice. It serves as a reminder that his struggle extends beyond himself—he has become a symbol of resistance.
Who is Vardan Ghukasyan?

Vardan Ghukasyan is a 47-year-old political refugee and outspoken advocate for free speech. Known for his active presence on social media and as the founder of the political party DOK, he has been a vocal critic of the Armenian government. His supporters argue that his arrest and detention are politically motivated, aimed at silencing his dissenting voice.
Ghukasyan’s journey has been fraught with challenges. After entering the United States in 2022, he sought refuge from what he described as political persecution in Armenia. However, his arrest by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in February 2025 has sparked widespread controversy. Supporters fear that his deportation to Armenia could endanger his life, as he faces accusations of extortion, calls for violence, and contempt of court—charges his advocates vehemently deny as baseless.
Raising Our Voices

Vardan’s voice is the voice of truth, freedom, and justice, and it is one we will not allow to be silenced. On April 25th at 12:00 PM, supporters will gather near the U.S. Embassy in Armenia to demand fairness, transparency, and the rejection of political persecution.
This protest is more than just support for Vardan—it is a message to those who believe they can wield injustice without challenge. It is a statement that we will not accept oppression, that we will stand together against attempts to silence and intimidate.
The Power of Unity
When voices come together, they become impossible to ignore. The fight for justice is not fought alone—it is carried forward by those who refuse to accept the erosion of truth. Vardan’s cause is our cause, and his struggle is a reflection of all who seek freedom from political injustice.
As the rally approaches, let this be a call to action. Let this be a moment to stand up, speak out, and demand a future where justice prevails.
Join us. Raise your voice. Stand for truth.
Freedom for Vardan Ghukasyan. Freedom for Armenia.
